11/04/2024 : Popped in to dealership today. As usual a mixed bag of information: on one hand they've had 1 solitary manual new face lift version ice version delivered. No idea though when any of the others will arrive as they weren't expecting that one! However I'm told my order has no chassis number yet and therfore not been registered for delivery. (I'm presuming this means it's not been built either but they tell me it's only assigned at registration and export.) they also tell me, well, assume based on things that it's probably likely due in Summer. Maybe?
27/04/2024 : again popped into my Dealer which I know we're not allowed to mention them but they own the majority of the franchises fro all major manufacturers in the uk. Anyway, what I said last time about them only knowing about it when it's exported (because they're not made in the UK) it would appear that whoever is in charge of doing that on their system, isn't doing it, so getting an expected delivery date seems a mute point at the moment. the chap at the dealership told me today that they are coming through, having had 4 in the last week and a half, Mine should be next but like with those cars, no prior warning was given on their delivery. So mine could be literally any day! not sure it helps any of you guys, but there it is!
10/05/2024 : My Dealer told me that the ICE orders have been put back to a September production - October delivery (estimated, earliest) which is definitely NOT the 3 months promised in January. I've had no choice but to Cancel my order and go with something else that ACTUALLY exists in person and been built already! I honestly don't know how a business like this prioritises EV's it can't sell over actual Orders placed.Sorry guys, it looks like you may need to check with your dealers for a revised delivery date.
