We had the choice of a stock car but not in the color we wanted and with a few fewer options.
After thinking about how much we could wait, we took the "risk" of trusting the supposed deadlines of 4 months.
We therefore chose a 300hp plug-in hybrid model (with the 360 ​​we further reduce the autonomy in full electric mode which is closer to 40 than 60 in real life without really any mechanical interest) in OPERA finish with all the options available in the catalog, even the "flat trunk" floor accessory which, in use, does not add much. Also as an accessory, rear seat protection with harness for dogs. Super effective and very good quality for 3x nothing. From memory I paid less than €300 for all the accessories on delivery. I am delighted with this purchase. Exceptional comfort, stunning suspension, very good level of performance, super efficient multimedia (compared to our second AUDI vehicle, it's day and night...) and which was apparently a negative point before this version. One regret, level 2 assisted driving: on the AUDI, panel recognition controls the Cruise's speed in real time. At DS, adaptation is suggested and must be approved each time for it to be applied. Obviously when the Audi messes up in recognizing the signs, and it brakes to make you go from 120 to 50 on the highway, it's not ideal either.
here and there I had seen negative comments here and there on reliability which worried me a little while I had had Peugeots with which I always did 5 years-250,000km without problems. We moved to AUDI/VW 15 years ago due to lack of attractive models from Peugeot. In the end we have, for the moment, significantly fewer problems than what we had with our Audi and VW; Only the Touareg (my only diesel in my life) was flawless....but for a hybrid Touareg, I have 2DS7 (smaller and a little less habitable, it's true, but that suits us).
