Well, 4 months late but given the Israeli-American context in the Persian Gulf, I consider myself lucky!
I've only done 120 km so far:
1) From the Montpellier dealership (NOT TERRIBLE, and above all unresponsive staff: 15 days to obtain a registration document... Apart from cashing the transfer (€32,150 anyway!), and generating requests for opinions before the vehicle is delivered, the service scoundrels are not capable of anything else! ...
But I'm used to the region so don't expect better ;-).
2) Plus a Ganges-Montpellier round trip to tame the beast...
- First impression = it's a change in comfort and excellence compared to a DS3 diesel from 2004, and no more diesel at €2.40/l :-)
But it will take me more time to tame the beast...
Too bad the scoundrels who decide for France have excluded:
- The V2L which would have allowed me to rescue the fridge in the event of a breakdown. No problem, I bought a compact 2.3 kVA generator on Amazon (delivered in 4 days), €444, made in China, of course. That way my pseudo-ecological neighbors will have something to grind :-)
- The heated seat and steering wheel must be attached to the sunroof :-(( in France... and which I didn't want.
- In Belgium, as in Germany, heated seat and steering wheel are standard with high-end models, and the sunroof is simply optional++.
- In the United Kingdom V2L is optional: €500 for Europeans ++.
Ah these French influencers, real calamities ;-))

More requests for opinions from Hyundai to which I am not responding...
If in France, collectors of diplomas... BAC+++ are not able to imagine that the French would have liked to have the V2L as an option, and the steering wheel & heated seats independently of the sunroof... LIKE ELSEWHERE in Europe...!!!
THEY JUST HAVE TO GO BACK TO KINDERGARTEN :-))

Initial delivery period of 4 months
Dmganges had opted for the Hyundai Inster on 19/08/2025. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 31/12/2025, equating to a four months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 4 months
In Dmganges's case, his Hyundai Inster was delivered with a slight four months delay, on 18/04/2026. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Hyundai still managed well.
In fact, dmganges waited 8 months
Dmganges ordered their Hyundai Inster in France on 19/08/2025. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 31/12/2025, which was an initial delivery time of 4 months. In the end, Dmganges took possession of the vehicle on 18/04/2026, which resulted in a waiting time of 8 months.
