Expected delivery period of 12 months
When Bisp ordered his Hyundai Santa Fe on 14/01/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 15/01/2023, a standard twelve months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 8 months
For Bisp, the delivery of his Hyundai Santa Fe was postponed by more than eight months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Bisp waited 20 months
Bisp ordered their Hyundai Santa Fe in Belgium on 14/01/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 15/01/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 12 months. In the end, Bisp took possession of the vehicle on 15/09/2023, which resulted in a waiting time of 20 months.
