Everything went miraculously well: the dealership came to pick me up in a service car (state limousine, almost!) so that I could finally collect my precious Mercedes. Perfect timing: the day before I go on vacation. Delay, certainly, but “just barely” as an SNCB controller would say.
The options are updated... and I'm heading to Italy, hair in the wind. Except that the same evening: poof, no more headlights! A huge computer bug. So I have to make an appointment with the… Italian dealership. But of course: annual holidays, curtains down, pasta only.
Three days later, miracle: everything works again! But Mercedes still offers me a check-up appointment... in a month. Not fast, but at least it leaves time to philosophize about the luxury of having a car that chooses its own schedule.

Initial delivery period of 4 months
Cachouetmike had opted for the Mercedes Classe E on 26/02/2025. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 30/06/2025, equating to a four months delivery period.

At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 30/06/2025, which was an initial delivery time of 4 months.
