Luxury version ordered in Kirin gray with gray interior at the end of April 2022; I was notified in November 2022 that this color was no longer produced and that it was replaced by concrete gray.
More than 1 year later, the vehicle has still not been delivered and the dealership does not give a deadline!
I had to regretfully give up the gray interior; the deadline remained uncertain and not guaranteed. I also switched to the pearl white color to get an available vehicle. Pearly white is ultimately a color that goes well with Marvel.
MG's production method remains a problem, since the manufacturer does not produce according to your order and your choices, but only in mass.

Expected delivery period of 10 months
When LF67 ordered his MG Marvel R on 30/04/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 28/02/2023, a standard ten months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 7 months
For LF67, the delivery of his MG Marvel R was postponed by more than seven months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, LF67 waited 17 months
LF67 ordered their MG Marvel R in France on 30/04/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 28/02/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 10 months. In the end, LF67 took possession of the vehicle on 22/09/2023, which resulted in a waiting time of 17 months.
