Review after the first month of use.
I come from a Clio 3 1.5 dci from 2009 and clearly I see the evolution between it and my new Sandero from 2026. Comfort level we will say that it is similar, in fact we remain in the same platform family. On the other hand, there is a gap in terms of electronics and on-board aids, ultimately it's almost too brutal for me. The camera that constantly scans you, the aids (which I configured) to be reactivated each time you start, it quickly becomes annoying but we make do with it.
Driving and pleasure of use.
On the engine side I am pleasantly surprised, for a petrol/LPG engine, I have almost the same driving report as with my old diesel. The torque is available very low, the turbo which is not variable geometry gives you a little boost which is not unpleasant at 2000 rpm.
Consumption.
For the moment I'm driving smoothly, breaking in requires, even if some will tell you that it's no longer necessary, but I'm from the old school, I break in my vehicles. My old Clio reached 392,000 km before I sold it and I think that the initial break-in had a lot to do with it. For the moment on the Sandero I am on an average of 6.5 liters per hundred in LPG, which suits me well. I get the latter at 0.99 cts near me, so I'm satisfied.
Driving comfort finishes.
I'm not going to talk about the interior plastics (like the automotive journalists who stare at it), because coming from a Clio 3, this one was already all plasticized. The thing I noticed, however, was the sound of the gravel under the body when it hit it. We can hear them clearly, otherwise overall the soundproofing does the job. For the price of the car, you shouldn't expect more. To conclude, after almost 1000 kms covered by the car, it fully fulfills its role. Very good value for money.
