Details from HE :
It entered the manufacturing line in Italy at the beginning of May and delivery would be scheduled for the beginning of July 26 according to the garage. The delay seems to be caused by production issues with the Long-Range battery... to be continued!
Appointment was made for the reception of Number 8 this July 6 but a new postponement due to a failed update. I'm waiting for a new date!
Finally receiving the vehicle on July 8 and the electric adventure begins.

05/07/2026 : Called the garage this Friday July 3 to say that the car will not be ready for Monday as planned... failed update!
11/07/2026 : The first 500 km.

Initial delivery period of 9 months

HE had chosen the DS N°8, a highly sought-after model, on 29/09/2025. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 16/06/2026. This represented an initial delivery period of nine months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍

A delivery perfectly on time !

This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about DS's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the N°8. Fortunately, HE's experience can provide reassurance on this point. DS handled it well 👍

HE ordered their DS N°8 in Belgium on 29/09/2025. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 16/06/2026, which was an initial delivery time of 9 months. In the end, HE took possession of the vehicle on 08/07/2026, which resulted in a waiting time of 9 months.
