Details from John :
I ordered my kona at the end of October 2023
Estimated delivery mid April 2024
At the beginning of April I learned that the estimated deadline had passed to August.
End of July, further postponed to end of September
Hip hip hip hooray
After 11 months of waiting for her (instead of 5), she finally arrived.
BUT ordered in a 141 hp hybrid version this one arrived in a 129 hp hybrid version (without being able to do anything about it)
I tested the 2 models and actually no real difference in power.
I am just very very disappointed with the lack of clarity, because I received no information either on the delay or on the fact that the engine has changed.
Fortunately this car is beautiful and at first glance drives really well

Expected delivery period of 6 months
When John ordered his Hyundai Kona on 28/10/2023, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 20/04/2024, a standard six months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 5 months
For John, the delivery of his Hyundai Kona was postponed by more than six months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, John waited 11 months
