Expected delivery period of 13 months
When Y ordered his Kia EV6 on 10/12/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 15/01/2024, a standard thirteen months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 5 months
For Y, the delivery of his Kia EV6 was postponed by more than four months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Y waited 18 months
Y ordered their Kia EV6 in France on 10/12/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 15/01/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 13 months. In the end, Y took possession of the vehicle on 28/05/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 18 months.
