Details from Maidenstan :
When ordered I was advised order would take 8 to 10 weeks. Contacted dealer after 7 weeks. No update. Car not in production at that time.
Car is actually GT Line S but that is not on your drop-down list.
Email from dealer after 9 weeks still in order stage. No idea when it will go into production.
Spoke to dealer after 10 weeks. He now says it will be 4 to 5 months from original order date.
One positive is that it will now be a MY25 not MY23. Although he could not tell me what the differences would be.
Spoke to salesman 14/05 car is on its way. Expected delivery beginning of June. A bit surprised because KIA investor day presentation showed that enhanced Sportage would not be available until Q4 24. I can’t believe there will be another updated model this year …????????. Delivered 11th June. Great car very economical for size. About 48mpg

Initial delivery period of 2 months
Maidenstan had opted for the Kia Sportage on 16/01/2024. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 26/03/2024, equating to a two months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 3 months
In Maidenstan's case, his Kia Sportage was delivered with a slight three months delay, on 11/06/2024. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Kia still managed well.
In fact, Maidenstan waited 5 months
Maidenstan ordered their Kia Sportage in United Kingdom on 16/01/2024. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 26/03/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 2 months. In the end, Maidenstan took possession of the vehicle on 11/06/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 5 months.
