31-1025 Just been advised that current Clio version (5) is no longer being produced as they are changing the production line for the newly announced version 6 due in Europe early next year but not the UK until 2027. My spare wheel factory fit cannot be now provided so either cancel order or accept standard build plus a road hero spare wheel kit which can only be kept in the boot and not in the recess as too big etc. Renault had this order months ago yet only tell me today, not impressed at all.
Finally got the car on the 18th November. All good so far. » Hobbit wrote this comment on 13/11/2025. | Hybrid E-Tech Full Hybrid 145 | 25/07/2025 3 months announced | 18/11/2025 +1 = 4 months observed |

🚗 Introduction
The Renault Clio remains one of the most popular superminis in Europe, blending stylish looks with practicality and fuel efficiency. Known for its attractive design and reliable hybrid powertrain, the Clio is a strong choice for drivers looking for a small car with a premium feel without breaking the bank.
📜 Historical Background
Since its launch in the early 1990s, the Renault Clio has become a best-seller thanks to its affordability and smart design. The latest facelift builds on its legacy, bringing sharper looks, improved technology, and a more efficient hybrid powertrain. The Clio's popularity has only grown with each generation, maintaining its reputation as a solid choice for city and suburban driving.
⚙️ Trims and Equipment
The Renault Clio is available in three main trims: Evolution, Techno, and the sportier Esprit Alpine. Standard features across the range include a 7-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a digital instrument cluster. Higher trims offer a larger 9.3-inch screen, upgraded upholstery, and more advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
🔋 Engine Options
The Clio comes with two engine options: a 1.0-litre TCe 90 petrol engine, and a 1.6-litre E-Tech hybrid. The hybrid system combines a 1.6-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 145hp, allowing it to achieve impressive fuel economy figures of up to 67 mpg. This self-charging hybrid system operates seamlessly, providing electric-only driving at lower speeds and enhancing fuel efficiency during urban commutes.
