Good morning.
Like many, I am surprised by the unreliability of the "My Renault" tracking tool...
The principle is excellent, but the updates are deplorable!
I have been at the "shipping" stage for 15 days, even though the seller called me yesterday to tell me that the car is at the dealership ("shipping", "transport" and "preparation" stages missed in the app).
The main thing is to soon be able to play with this beautiful car!
Design and exterior/interior appearance
The quality of the materials is real.
The exterior size may seem important at first, but you can quickly get your bearings, and are made easier by the excellence of the exterior mirrors. The available space (front / rear / trunk) is gigantic!
The only downsides (if there are any!?):
- the front central armrest, which does not lock (slips a few cents on its rails)
- the plastic of the steering wheel raises questions (soft and clear: how will it age?)
Performance and road behavior
It's not a sports car, but the restarts are very reassuring.
The driving position is found without problem.
The tires do not squeal in turns, and in the dry, comfort is great.
Equipment and technologies
You have to get used to the Google environment, but once you get the hang of it, it's just a joy.
The exterior retro camera can still be improved (non-adjustable zoom effect), but the top view in reverse is simply brilliant.
Conclusion
Electricity provides perfect driving comfort, which remains quite expensive.
The Scenic offers an ideal compromise for what concerns me!

After a few hours of driving, a lot of happiness:
- superb car,
- comfortable,
- traction chain at the top
Consumption over 300 km combined: 18 kW/100 (very close to the WLTP data)
The numerous digital controls require a lot of adaptation, and raise questions for some: how to adjust the “zoom” of the rear retro camera? how to modulate the alerts (30 cm for lateral obstacles, it beeps far too often!)? ...
The level 2 autonomous mode is impressive, but the safety distances taken into account seem a little too great to me (adjustment possible?).

Connecting to My Renault from the car was also a great moment... after 20 tries, reading multiple pages of help and tutorials, it's good!

Initial delivery period of 4 months
JFW02 had chosen the Renault Scenic E-Tech, a highly sought-after model, on 15/05/2024. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 02/09/2024. This represented an initial delivery period of four months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍
Delivery 1 month ahead of schedule !
This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about Renault's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the Scenic E-Tech. Fortunately, JFW02's experience can provide reassurance on this point. Renault handled it well 👍

JFW02 ordered their Renault Scenic E-Tech in France on 15/05/2024. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 02/09/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 4 months. In the end, JFW02 took possession of the vehicle on 06/08/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 3 months.
