Guys ,I ordered my Caddy way back in May 2023 with an estimated delivery of around March this year. The garage informed me the build date was early March, then I was advised it had disappeared off the radar. They did enquire and because of the upcoming safety features of speed limiters etc the build was postponed until they knew UK requirements. Mmmmm? Anyway the new build date is September. Had I known all this beforehand I probably wouldn't have bothered. However we require a 7 seater and hopefully should have it soon.

Finally took delivery of my Caddy just shy of an 18month wait. I am delighted with the car but had I known the length of wait beforehand not sure if I would have ordered it. Nevertheless I am delighted with the car .
The touchscreen will take a bit of getting used to and you can switch off auto stop, lane warning and speed limiter if required. They all revert back to the on format each time the car is switched off.
At the end of your wait guys you will end up with a very nice car.

Initial delivery period of 10 months
Gaz had chosen the Volkswagen Caddy, a highly sought-after model, on 08/05/2023. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 01/03/2024. This represented an initial delivery period of ten months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍

In fact, Gaz waited 17 months
Gaz ordered their Volkswagen Caddy in United Kingdom 
on 08/05/2023. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 01/03/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 10 months. In the end, Gaz took possession of the vehicle on 02/10/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 17 months.
