Expected delivery period of 4 months
When R1 ordered his Volkswagen Golf on 28/05/2024, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 21/09/2024, a standard four months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 6 months
For R1, the delivery of his Volkswagen Golf was postponed by more than six months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
