📅 Barracuda's Order History
05/02/2025 :
I've been informed that new build date is 3 months later than the original one, so expected delivery time is 2nd half of June.
24/04/2025 :
I’m still waiting, but not patiently at all. Now they are talking about end of June instead of 2nd half of June. I’m so pissed off. I’ll never wait such a long time for a car.
05/06/2025 :
Build date for week 25th is foreseen.
19/06/2025 :
They informed me about one more week delay on the production. This company is a joke.
08/08/2025 :
The car was finally handed over. It took way too long, escpecially compared to the initially indicated delivery date. Upon handover they did not say a single sorry for the delay, which was really funny. I think this attitude won’t be enough in this competitive environment for VW in the future. But the car is really fine, I like it. Cipressino green is a nice colour and this package has most of the extras I need. It’s comfortable, the software is fast and smooth enough. What I only miss is the sun shade, which is not even available for this model. I don’t believe someone will order a Tayron just because of the shading.

Expected delivery period of 6 months
When Barracuda ordered his Volkswagen Tiguan on 10/09/2024, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 10/03/2025, a standard six months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 5 months
For Barracuda, the delivery of his Volkswagen Tiguan was postponed by more than five months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Barracuda waited 11 months
