Ordered on April 1st 2022, told middle to end of July, then October, followed by an explanation that it wasn't even built, and would take nine weeks transport when it was built, so wouldn't see it in early 2023. Now over a year, and I've heard nothing, except an apology from the dealer, saying there has been a personell change, and he was appointed to oversee my delivery, and would contact me every three to four weeks, to let me know if there was any change in events.
Three months down the line, and I've heard nothing more. What is wrong with mg in the UK.
What annoys me more, is that I have met several owners, with the exact same car, as I have ordered, who have taken delivery of their car, and get this, ordered it way after me. Something really wrong here.

Some good news for me, I was informed yesterday, 4th July 23, that my vehicle had arrived in the UK, and was awaiting transport to the dealer, up here in Scotland.
The bad news, get this, there is no time frame for delivery to the show room, meaning it could still be some months away. Wow.
Well, it took three weeks to transport my car from Bristol to Edinburgh, normally a six hour drive. Nothing going right for my particular dealer, I won't ever use this one again.
I now have my vehicle, and it is a delight to drive.

Expected delivery period of 4 months

When Pbeatts ordered his MG ZS on 01/04/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 22/07/2022, a standard four months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.

A delivery delayed by 12 months
