On this luxury version the perception of the materials gives a good impression of seriousness in the finish. The comfort of the seats is good but perhaps a little firm, a bit German-style. In terms of consumption, on mixed driving with around 80% road and 20% highway, consumption did not exceed 5 to 5.5 liters, which is a good range compared to the small 41 liter fuel tank.
The covers are very correct.
Soundproofing that could be improved a little without being too annoying.
On the big subject of "engine revving" I was able to actually observe on a few occasions this very surprising and unpleasant side of revving up without power support. Normally MG has made the necessary updates and according to my dealer this is normal operation on this type of hybridization. I will still make an appointment to make sure that this update has been carried out.
The fact remains that overall I am satisfied with my acquisition. This MG has a beautiful line, good dimensions, a sufficient trunk for our use.

Dashboard and driving

In my previous paragraph I forgot to talk about the dashboard instrumentation and driving modes.
Regarding the different features, these are more than complete, even a little too much. It took me a few hours to get the hang of them. There is the central panel which is operated using the small square button on the right. To select, do not press the button on the right, left above or below but you must push it, as desired, on each of its sides. This allows you to have information depending on what you are looking for. Then there are 2 star buttons which are used to choose a shortcut for the right screen. For example, I chose the front camera and the air conditioning.
As for the camera, it's really great, we have a good view of the front and top of the vehicle.
When reversing, it is also a good idea to have the distance in cm between the vehicle and the obstacle.
To return to the screen to the right of the steering wheel, there is the entertainment info part and the part of the different settings and in particular the driving aids that can be selected, activated or deactivated. But for some you have to remember to do it before starting (exceeding speed alert). For the limiter or regulator you also have to make a selection between the 2 modes because there is only one button on the steering wheel. There is a normal and in other words intelligent limiter mode which recognizes the signs and acts on the speed accordingly. It's a good idea but in town I prefer to set my speed myself because otherwise with this mode there is too much inertia when restarting (for example when leaving a traffic light). Otherwise on the road it can do it but it's not what I prefer. For the regulator I tested the normal mode and the so-called adaptive mode with lane keeping. It works but once again I like to keep control of the driving. But again it can help.
There is also downhill assistance which is well received. This prevents the engine from revving and the vehicle from going from 80 to 110 for example.
What else can I say, the electric regeneration system offers 3 engine braking modes, 1 very light, 1 second a little more present and a 3rd more efficient. This is the one I prefer because, among other things, you don't need to press the brake pedal too often. In sustained turns, you just have to lift your foot and it passes without braking, especially since the vehicle holds well in turns without rolling.
The original tires are 3 penny tires, seen on sites for 35 euros each, i.e. 4 to 5 times cheaper than branded tires. It must be said that these tires are worth 4 to 5 times less in terms of reliability and longevity, the rest will tell....

So time frame of 4.5 months instead of the forecast 5/6 months.
I hope to take possession of it on Saturday August 16 🙏
