As of today, 07/5/2023, almost 5 months after the order, my Opel dealer has no information, no production date, in short no visibility of anything!
Frankly Opel really takes its customers for...
Whether the deadlines are long, so be it....but at least the manufacturer can provide information and visibility...
The salesperson who is doing everything he can, however, admits to me that they received an Astra almost like mine (so at the beginning of July) and ordered almost 9 nine months ago....and therefore a 2022 vehicle with a different finish from the models ordered in 2023!
It's total abuse. It's not a Porsche 911 after all!!
It's too long...I'm wondering about canceling my order

Update from 11/24/2023
Huge surprise after 9 nine months without any news, Opel ended up sending an email to my sales representative...to say that they will not be able to manufacture the car I ordered!!!
The reason: the Ultimate finish no longer exists in 2024 with my engine (180hp)!
In exchange, they offer me a 225hp version with the same level of equipment as my order. And of course they cover the difference (around €5,000).
So new wait until the end of February max. If further delay, I will cancel the order...
Please note that my sales representative did his best to try to satisfy me but is unfortunately dependent on Stellantis.

Still no news...

At the end of February, my dealer informed me that the vehicle which should have arrived now... has not yet started on the production line. He tells me a delivery...mid April!
That’s too much, I said stop 😠
It's not a Porsche 911 but a simple sedan that I'm waiting for...
I'm disappointed and angry...
I've been waiting for a year...Stellantus are really bad at bad...their communication with customers is absolute zero. I have never seen so little consideration for customers.
They are truly pitiful.
