Delivery and handling

Discovery of our magnificent Scenic with the whole family: essential.
A little difficult to get started because switching from a manual diesel to an electric one is hot, especially for slow maneuvers: one piece of advice: switch to ECO mode, less violent.

The first days: lots of information and a few scares

In a few hours, we are already better... in a few days, we pass the course without worry and we can test all the modes, SPORT included.
The scares are for parking: too nervous! In case of small margin, when starting you must immediately brake then release otherwise it is difficult.
The change of direction, from forward to reverse, is not always taken into account if you go too fast: you have to keep your foot on the brake to get there... otherwise, it's the fear of your life thinking of going backwards and you suddenly move forward on the vehicle in front: no shock, phew!

Parking: it's still difficult

The landmarks are harder to take, especially with the rear camera: the driving lines are underestimated and bring us too close to the obstacles.

A word of advice: go wide!!!

Car parking: it's great... when it works.
Be careful, trees and green areas are not seen as "occupied" and the system wants you to park there: ouch! Brake, disengage the system and manually ;)
When the space, in the slot is ok, therefore, larger than we would do by hand, it fits tip top but far, very far from the troitoire by about 20 cm (that's a lot especially with a car this wide). Then, at the end, for some strange reason, the last movement pulls the nose of the car in which makes the ass stick out a little... not pretty, not great. So, you have to block before the end or straighten afterwards.

Charging: it's new and stressful

At home, on a domestic socket: startup went well and it works well. You just have to get used to closing the hatch (thanks for the message on the tdb) because between unplugging, curling (not rolling) the extension and putting it away, you forget the hatch!

On a 7kva type 2 socket at work: discovery that there is one direction to the cable, large on the car side and smaller on the terminal side. You have to know this especially in the dark.
Don't forget to close the door, otherwise it will block or even crash the system: only once.

On a public terminal: not done, not successful it must be said

09/10/2024 : Passage to PREPARATION: still the same delivery date estimated from 4/11/24 to 17/11/24... it's approaching
09/10/2024 : Call the dealership to set up an appointment for delivery: possible from 10/17/24 but I can't... so it will be 10/18/24.
09/10/2024 : I asked to see if the mats are properly planned as the salesman, Samir, promised me. I don't want to get it dirty when I go in for the first time.
11/10/2024 : I will have many mats and my birth department
18/10/2024 : Delivery and test drive of the Scenic: return of our old purchased vehicle
