😍 Share Škoda Enyaq of Alme !
Originally ordered Enyaq IV on 30.10.23. Although a new model was to be available to order in the very next day, the dealer made no mention of it.
In December the dealer called to tell me that my order could not be fulfilled because of the model change and I would have to choose one of the new models which I did.
In early January I was told by the dealer by email that my build date was week commencing April 8th 2024.
In March I was again informed that the build date would be week commencing April 8th.
On April 18th dealer left a message on my home telephone that build date would now be late May or even early June.
Car finally delivered to dealer and collected by me on Sept 12th.

Home car charger failed.

Home car charger failed, notified charger manufacturer.
After submitting photos of home fuse board and charger engineer who originally fitted charger visited.
It transpired that water had got into charger joint box causing a short which strangely did not cause the power supply to trip.
Repaired in a few minutes and now working again.

Expected delivery period of 5 months
When Alme ordered his Škoda Enyaq on 30/10/2023, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 30/03/2024, a standard five months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 5 months
For Alme, the delivery of his Škoda Enyaq was postponed by more than five months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Alme waited 10 months
Alme ordered their Škoda Enyaq in United Kingdom 
on 30/10/2023. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 30/03/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 5 months. In the end, Alme took possession of the vehicle on 12/09/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 10 months.
