ADAS (driving aids)
As usual with VW, very good, non-intrusive driving aids. I don't deactivate any of them. Speed violations are indicated visually and by a very discreet and non-disturbing sound alert. I advise you to check the eco-driving assistance, it indicates slowdowns and specific points (roundabouts, sharp bends) and slows you down using electric braking (by recuperation) if you do not do so. Same if you catch up with a vehicle, even without putting the ACC on.
116 hp eTSI engine
Coming from a T-Roc with a 150 hp engine, I hesitated to choose the 116 hp (on Style, you have the choice between the 2 engines). I had read good comments for this engine on the Golf, but it is lighter. I am very satisfied with it, if necessary it is boosted by the starter-alternator, which can deliver up to 19 hp and 54 Nm of additional torque. It is sufficient, no need to spend €2500 more! In all circumstances, the engine, alternator-starter and DSG7 assembly form a coherent whole and make driving smooth and smooth. I drive in "E" mode, except in the mountains where I use "S" mode or manual gears, using the paddles (engine brake).
Phares Matrix LED
Very happy with the choice of this option (I regretted not having taken it on my previous T-Roc). Night driving is fabulous, especially on small roads, always with optimum lighting. Directional headlights appreciated, and the all-weather lighting (eg fog lights) widely illuminates the sides of the road.
Ergoactive seat
As standard on Style, the excellent "Ergoactive" seat on the driver's side, with multiple adjustments to the seat (tilt, length). The 2 front seats are heated, massaging and have electro-pneumatic adjustment of lumbar support (hardness and height). And all this as standard.
