![]() de K8jugs 💬 « XC40 recharge plus - no add ons, motability vehicle » K8jugs wrote this comment on 17/08/2024. 11/07/2024 : We’ve been waiting for the order number from Volvo since the week it was ordered (6 April). When they confirm that number, you are given the build slot and estimated delivery date. I was feeling apprehensive as over 3 months and no order number so I was feeling scared that the ‘4-6 month estimate’ would begin once we were given the order number. Finally I was given the order number last week and informed it was already built and in the uk?! So now waiting for the delivery agent (who have 5 working days to deliver it, and then once delivered I have to wait an additional 4 days for Motability company to do their admin bits. The wait is almost over and earlier than expected! 17/08/2024 : So…went to collect the car on 18th July and when I turned up I knew it wasn’t right. It didn’t have a black roof (so I knew it wasn’t a plus model. It was also a Ex40… that part I wouldn’t have complained obviously 😜. But yep, they sent a core model! My sales guy (whom by this point I’ve really zero faith in him (soooooooo many issues and errors it’s comical!)). Well he tries to tell me “oh yes it’s a core model”. Err…. It’s supposed to be a plus model?!!! Him: “erm, no it’s a core. Well I’ll go and check your paperwork!” In a tone that I know he thought he was right. Well… I was. Absolute joke! Anyways, they managed to “find” two other cars at the dock and he recalled I wanted to change the colour to white. They had a grey and a white, which one did I want? So yay! I collected my new car finally last Wednesday! Loads of stupid salesman in between sending me 3 different reg numbers etc but nothing unusual or surprising from him sadly. It was obviously spot ‘cleaned’ so there was a tone of baked in bird poo and months of ‘crud’ under the hood and in crevices, so certainly not the ‘five star service’?! But I finally cleaned it all today and its made me feel a lot better ☺️ | Electric Recharge 238ch | 06/04/2024 6 months announced | 07/08/2024 -2 = 4 months observed |
