VOLVO is no longer what it used to be!!
It still has to drive more than 800 km
Ours, XC 60 hybrid at 80,000 euros list price, breaks down and stops after only 864 km.
Delivered on October 15, 2024 “new and in working order” as the Volvo Sweden Provence Automobiles dealership in Avignon responded without any consideration.
You will then take more than 30 minutes to receive assistance and will be forced to call them 5 times with these long, endless waits, to move forward with your dramatic situation.
That Neni! The assistance will drop you with children aged 7, 8 and 11 for 6 hours on a dangerous and dirty sidewalk.
Faced with this incompetence, you will have to look for emergency solutions yourself and get a ride to collect a rental vehicle.
Your vehicle taken care of by a breakdown repairer, it will then take 3 weeks to recover your car.
Repaired a known and recurring fault on its Volvo hybrid models.
After these 3 long weeks of waiting, your car is almost newer! You will be returned with scratches and marks and you will have to wait another 1 hour for polishing to be done. The VOLVO FELIX FAURE AUTOMOBILES VENISSIEUX dealership will tell you that it’s probably the convenience store.
And will hide from you the cost of the breakdown invoiced to Volvo, a cost that is surely insignificant and which could certainly have been foreseen or avoided in advance without taking the risk of a breakdown that could endanger the people traveling in the Volvo.
Following this incompetence and dangerousness of the case, you will request compensation from your dealer.
This will ignore your registered letters for more than a month.
To finally tell you that they are not concerned and will take responsibility for Volvo France which will send you a bag and a Volvo umbrella as compensation. And will play dead just like the concession for compensation up to the damage and the mark.
You will therefore have a so-called new car which in 1 month will have already had a good life.

Initial delivery period of 3 months
Jérôme T had opted for the Volvo XC60 on 21/06/2024. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 10/09/2024, equating to a three months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 1 month
In Jérôme T's case, his Volvo XC60 was delivered with a slight one month delay, on 15/10/2024. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Volvo still managed well.
