FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Here is a short report from my first week of using my new C5
Positive points:
1) discreet closing of the tailgate without slamming when it stops. The old C5 slammed at the end of the race
2) automatic windshield wiper sensitivity adjustment... great
3) very smooth steering, even smoother than on the old one
4) driving pleasure in full electric mode... silent, comfortable
5) in hybrid mode, the change of source... battery and/or thermal engine is done without bumps or jerks
6) in sport mode, we feel the 225 HP... it pushes
7) the very bright and pleasant interior probably includes hype gray option on the one hand and panoramic sunroof on the other hand
8) very flattering body panel fits...
9) perceived quality and very good interior and exterior finishes
10) definition of camera images in clear progress, including night vision
11) very intuitive overall handling including help tips and various functions (there is no shortage of them)
12) the reception function of the driver's seat....a pleasure (especially for me given the circumstances)
13) in electric mode... magnificent price/consumption/distance ratio... €3.89 per 100 kms nothing to do with a gasoline consumption of 7/8 l/100 at €14/16 per 100 kms
Negative points:
1) difficulty finding the sensor for opening the tailgate by foot. On the old one, I found it straight away...it's not easy here...maybe a more specific area and/or lack of experience 😔
2) when starting, as nothing appears...we have to check twice if READY is on the dashboard before starting.

Initial delivery period of 6 months
Moa had chosen the Citroën C5 Aircross, a highly sought-after model, on 27/01/2026. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 28/07/2026. This represented an initial delivery period of six months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍
Delivery 1 month ahead of schedule !
This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about Citroën's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the C5 Aircross. Fortunately, Moa's experience can provide reassurance on this point. Citroën handled it well 👍

Moa ordered their Citroën C5 Aircross in Belgium on 27/01/2026. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 28/07/2026, which was an initial delivery time of 6 months. In the end, Moa took possession of the vehicle on 18/06/2026, which resulted in a waiting time of 5 months.
