Order on December 20, 2023 and deliverable between March and April 2024 with upper deadline of 04/30/2024. As of 04/3/2024 no delivery date. Car still not in production!!
At the beginning of June I was contacted by Mail by Cupra directly to tell me that the version of my car had changed. It would therefore be a phase 2 with the developments that go with a larger entertainment screen, position of the D/B/R selection lever, 20'' rims instead of 19''....etc...
But new delivery contract from July 2024 to December 31, 2024...
The dealer knows nothing about it! Are the rims and 3D camera options that I took still included in this contract??? No response. So we'll see when we receive the car...if it ever arrives!

At the beginning of September following my call to the dealership, I was informed that the car had left production. Waiting in a parking lot I am told???
on October 28, 2024 the dealer asks me for a certificate of residence for registration.
On October 31 I received an invoice for my vehicle by post. There is a problem with the amount of the state bonus because the signing of the purchase contract dates from 2023 with a bonus of 5000 Euro and not 4000 Euro as currently.
To be seen upon delivery of my vehicle.
It's an uninterrupted series of disappointment..endless.
We are still waiting for the vehicle to be delivered...maybe one day...
I had decided to wait to be contacted, to no longer take the first step... but finally I weakened at the end of November and called back.
I was upset because my salesperson discovered that I had received an invoice and informed me that I had to pay it to resolve the situation! That said, he forgot that I have a repeat. He must therefore first buy back my old vehicle, as specified in the contract, so that I can pay the amount by compulsory transfer to CUPRA for my future car. And the total amount is still not correct. But on the other hand during the discussion with I learned that the car has been on the dealership...for how long??
The time to obtain authorization from Cupra for the price, to prepare the car, to check that it complies with expectations, the vehicle was delivered to us with all their apologies on December 24, 2024, one year after its order!

Expected delivery period of 4 months
When Chris ordered his Cupra Born on 20/12/2023, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 30/04/2024, a standard four months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 8 months
For Chris, the delivery of his Cupra Born was postponed by more than eight months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Chris waited 12 months
Chris ordered their Cupra Born in France on 20/12/2023. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 30/04/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 4 months. In the end, Chris took possession of the vehicle on 24/12/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 12 months.
