Expected delivery period of 15 months
When Kjell Brel ordered his Hyundai Ioniq 5 on 05/10/2021, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 31/12/2022, a standard fifteen months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 9 months
For Kjell Brel, the delivery of his Hyundai Ioniq 5 was postponed by more than nine months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Kjell Brel waited 24 months
Kjell Brel ordered their Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Sweden on 05/10/2021. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 31/12/2022, which was an initial delivery time of 15 months. In the end, Kjell Brel took possession of the vehicle on 05/10/2023, which resulted in a waiting time of 24 months.
