Details from papyfox :
My mechanic told me that I shouldn't have too much faith in these deadlines and that there was the greatest anarchy at Peugeot from this point of view in any case. Wait and see.
Additional explanation, again according to my mechanic: some customers receive notification of delivery of the vehicle BEFORE the mechanic is notified. He himself receives vehicles without brief notice numerous bugs.
I transcribe the text of my order form: expected delivery time from 10/17/2024 to 12/12/2024. Delivery deadline: 12/12/2024.
Needless to say, if I am not delivered by this last date my withdrawal will start on 13/12/2024.
Furthermore, the order program for mechanics refuses, with the 136e-DSC6 hybrid engine, to obtain the option ZVKU - drive assist plus pack, at least in this country (B). Verification carried out is possible in France, Spain, Italy etc. Why mystery.
I will keep you informed of further developments.

Sister Anne...known chorus. According to my garage, after the 9th of the month, there will be no news of production before the 6th of the following month. So delivery at the earliest at the end of September but that doesn't enchant me given the fear of a belt breakage (the famous one bathed in oil) of my 308 from 2016 75000km. Did I do well to stay loyal to Peugeot to perhaps wipe away the plasters of the 136 hp e-dcs-6 hybrid engine? Re-wait and see.
Perhaps I am being punished for ordering an Allure where I am going to wrap the roof and especially change the rims... I propose a gold medal to reward the rim designers at Peugeot, grand prize for ugliness for the original 17" rims.

Delivery problems ALL Peugeot BVA e-DCS 6.
I refer you to the article in "L'Automobile" from October 12 "https://www.automobile-magazine.fr/fiabilite-rappels/article/45018-motor-12-hybride-stellantis-des-boites-de-vitesse-deja-remplacees-a-tres-faible-kilometrage" which relates the serious problems of the Stellantis group with the BVA e-dcs 6 coupled to the hybrid engine 136 hp since this group must already recall thousands of cars equipped with this box 208, 2008, 308, 3008 and 5008 with reprogramming or worse. In addition, to avoid having to do a recall on even more vehicles, this looks bad especially at Peugeot and for lack of having resolved this problem, Peugeot BLOCKS produced and undelivered vehicles at the factory. In addition, he does not respond to mechanics in a hurry for their customer - total lack of communication!
So from the end of 2023, beginning of 2024 Peugeot sold us (at a high price) a Beta prototype model that was not sufficiently tested. In a word, it restarts the wet belt saga of the 1.2 l Pure Tech. And obsessed by this problem which seemed solved with the installation of a chain, we fell into the trap and we bought a "cat in a bag". Personally, I am impatiently waiting for the delivery deadline, hoping not to be delivered and thus be able to terminate my contract. In conclusion, deceived but not fooled. Papyfox.
Note that I am a loyal Peugeot customer with 1 Simca 1100 S, 1 1308GT, 1 1510 GLS, 2 305D, 1 406 LPG, 1 406 D, 2 308. You will understand that I am of a certain age, I thought I would treat myself with a last Peugeot but if there is termination there will be a consummate divorce.

Vehicle arrived on December 4 in BELGIUM and must have arrived at my garage.
Will be delivered to me on January 3 (at my request model 2025, after registration) after some work to wrap the roof in glossy black.
I will send photos and validate the exact delivery date.
Does this story FINALLY have a happy ending? I'll tell you this in a year...
At my request, the car arrived at the dealership around December 20 and was only registered 06012025. In addition, it had to have its roof painted. I will send you photos as soon as possible.
THE END after 318 days of waiting!!!!!!!!!!!
