Details from Taki :
Clio E-tech 145 Esprit Alpine Schist Gray, Bose + City Premium Pack
A Clio that is being Meganized
The design of the car is a strong element of this phase 2 of the Clio. It stands out from the brand's other productions and what's more, it turns heads!
The shale gray paint is one of the ones that suits it best because it shines and has beautiful reflections in the sun ranging from almost white to very dark gray.
This color also creates unity with the crystal lights at the rear and the dark-tinted rims and windows.
The rims are very nice with the false central nut and the Alpine marking.
The crystal rear lights allow the light to stand out even more, supporting the visual identity of the car.
Nothing to envy of the greatest
In terms of behavior, it has nothing to envy of cars in the higher segment, the chassis is safe and very efficient.
In terms of consumption, over a 550km journey mixing 40% city, 30% national and 30% highway (at 120km/h) it stands at 4.3l/100km.
The remaining range was estimated at the end of the journey at 260km, allowing a combined range of 810km. Which is very good for a car with a 39l tank.
In addition, the car runs very regularly on electric power, on this same route, 300km were covered on 100% electric power.
When the thermal engine turns on the noise and vibrations are very well contained, it is only between 50km/h and 70km/h that the engine revs up and is heard but otherwise the gears and the transition from thermal to electric are almost imperceptible.
Mode B is very practical and allows you to almost no longer touch the brake pedal in town. On the road, once the battery is fully charged, be careful because there is no longer much engine braking, the thermal then turns on (without consumption) and downshifts one gear to regain engine braking.
A technological car
The car is very well equipped, especially in the Esprit Alpine finish (speed cameras, level 2 autonomous driving, blind spot, etc.)
In my case, the equipment is supplemented by the 360° camera and parking assist. The 360 camera is super practical despite the fact that the definition of the cameras is a little low for a car of this range. It's also a shame that we can't see the wheel on the driver's side.
It's practical (even essential) but Renault could have gone further.
On the sound side, the Bose sound system plays really well and is very enjoyable. Nothing to say.
Centering in the lane can also be improved because the steering wheel moves slightly when it doesn't need to, giving the impression of fighting against the car...
The LEDs are very powerful, it is very pleasant to ride at night with them.
A finally mature Clio
To conclude, I would say that this Clio is the most accomplished in terms of design, technology, finish and even driving pleasure of all generations of Clio.
Its restyling allowed it to gain personality and be remarkable.
The Esprit Alpine finish completes the move upmarket by giving it a very appreciable sport/class side.

Initial delivery period of 3 months
Taki had chosen the Renault Clio, a highly sought-after model, on 18/01/2024. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 15/04/2024. This represented an initial delivery period of three months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍
A delivery perfectly on time !
This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about Renault's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the Clio. Fortunately, Taki's experience can provide reassurance on this point. Renault handled it well 👍
