Manufacturing planned for the first week of September postponed to October 7 (call on September 29, i.e. 9 days before the manufacturing date).
Manufacturing scheduled for October 7, postponed to October 28 (call October 12).
Manufacturing scheduled for October 28, postponed to December 16 (call November 6).
I don't know what to think anymore.
Construction begins January 22, 2024.
Exit from the factory scheduled for January 29, 2024 => no more news on the progress of construction until Monday February 26, 2024.
Departure from factory on February 23, 2024 - February 26, arrival of the vehicle on the French fleet => waiting for the delivery date from the dealer but not before mid-March I would say either 1 year after the theoretical delivery date or 21 months of waiting.
Reception this Friday March 22, 2024. Quite an adventure!

Expected delivery period of 8 months
When Dadou ordered his Volkswagen Multivan on 30/06/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 15/02/2023, a standard eight months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 13 months
For Dadou, the delivery of his Volkswagen Multivan was postponed by more than thirteen months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Dadou waited 21 months
Dadou ordered their Volkswagen Multivan in France on 30/06/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 15/02/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 8 months. In the end, Dadou took possession of the vehicle on 22/03/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 21 months.
