Expected delivery period of 6 months
When Calypso ordered his Volkswagen Multivan on 16/06/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 25/12/2022, a standard six months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 10 months
For Calypso, the delivery of his Volkswagen Multivan was postponed by more than ten months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
