We made a leasing request with our bank advisor on November 12, 2024. This was accepted the same day.
A few days later, I receive a call from my bank advisor to inform me that the leasing request has been confirmed and that an advisor from CM Leasing will contact me, in order to send him the necessary papers for registering the vehicle and updating my contact details.
November 20, 2024: first forecast delivery date: May 2025 without further details.
The end-of-year holidays pass and here we are on January 3, 2025, the date on which I receive an email from the CM Leasing advisor to inform me that the estimated delivery date has been postponed to week 11 (week of March 10 to 14, 2025). So much the better, I tell myself at that moment.
And then, on January 30, 2025, on a beautiful afternoon when I was leaving work, I received a call (a 09 XX XX XX XX) to which I usually never answer because I do not know the number, not indicating a suspicion of spam, I decide to pick up and it.............SURPRISE, on the other side of the line, my CM Leasing advisor who tells me that ultimately, my vehicle has taken a little further ahead than expected and I ask if I don't mind receiving it in mid-February rather than mid-March, the date initially planned.
OF COURSE NO, IT DOESN’T DISTURB ME, ON THE CONTRARY.
So, as a result, the advisor tells me that he will take care of the registration and the registration document, which he will send to me as soon as possible.
Two days have passed since the phone call from the CM Leasing advisor, and on Saturday morning, what a surprise in my mailbox: MY CARTE GRISE, left by my postman colleague.
Therefore, out of pure curiosity, I called the dealership to check the availability of my vehicle. No secretary on Saturday at the dealership so I have to call back on Monday February 3, 2025.
The weekend passes and here we are Monday February 3, 2025. It is exactly 2:13 p.m. (thanks for the telephone history) when I call the dealership. After a few telephone calls and some information given to the secretary and a few minutes of processing my request, the secretary informed me of the good news:
"MR, WE CONFIRM THAT YOUR VEHICLE IS AVAILABLE AT THE DEALERSHIP SINCE JANUARY 31, 2025".
Great ! So make an appointment to receive the vehicle with the secretary scheduled for Thursday February 6, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
First kilometers
Here we are in our C3 you. It smells new and feels good. As for driving, nothing to report, except that compared to my old vehicle (C5 from 2003), it's strange to see the hood while driving. Reception of the vehicle with 7 km on the odometer and half the tank.
Deactivatable options
Sober and correct interior for the base model. Driving position and pleasant driving, except the automatic sign reading option which emits beeps when the authorized speed is exceeded. Fortunately, this option can be deactivated while driving. Small downside, we have to deactivate it each time we start the vehicle.
Application My Citroën
Who says C3 you (basic version) says no touch screen therefore no radio. However, Citroën have thought well. Indeed, the My Citroën application, after having created your account and registered your vehicle with its serial number and connected to the car's Bluetooth, you will have access to Web Radio, WAZE, and your contacts.

06/02/2025 :
D-Day: We arrived at the dealership at 3:30 p.m. (a little early). We were received by the delivery manager at 4:00 p.m. as planned. 4:04 p.m., the release papers are signed. Following this, a dealership employee comes to see us and takes us to the rear showroom and shows us our vehicle as well as the handling. That done, we set off on the road to return home.
