Ordered at the weekend, initially asked for £2000 deposit until I threatened to cancel the order, agreed to the standard £500 deposit. Told that it would be up to 4 months waiting time!! Not good, not happy!!

Got my Ec5 air cross max on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 & had to take it back to Citroen (at the other side of the county!) on Friday 5th June to investigate a very loud metallic squeak and clanging noise emanating from the rear right hand side of the car every time it bumped or cornered. The noise was audible inside & outside the car & completely ruined the experience of having a brand new car! The car was looked at for hours in the service department until they concluded that it might be caused by a "seat/seating (?) bracket" ... which they'd have to order. This meant I had to endure the stress & embarrassment of driving this faulty vehicle for 2 weeks whilst waiting for the part. Finally, the repair is booked in for Friday 19th June... I just pray that it actually solves it! Meanwhile, my "new car experience" has been totally destroyed.
