Expected delivery period of 6 months
When PC ordered his Kia Niro on 12/07/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 02/01/2023, a standard six months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 15 months
For PC, the delivery of his Kia Niro was postponed by more than fifteen months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, PC waited 21 months
PC ordered their Kia Niro in Belgium on 12/07/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 02/01/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 6 months. In the end, PC took possession of the vehicle on 04/04/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 21 months.
