Expected delivery period of 6 months
When Paul ordered his Kia Niro on 06/01/2023, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 10/07/2023, a standard six months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 8 months
For Paul, the delivery of his Kia Niro was postponed by more than eight months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Paul waited 14 months
Paul ordered their Kia Niro in Netherland 
on 06/01/2023. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 10/07/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 6 months. In the end, Paul took possession of the vehicle on 01/03/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 14 months.
