27/06/2024 : Went to my local KIA dealership today to find out if any progress has been made on the ETA. He had no news on ETA, however he mentioned that I was 3rd on the waiting list. The first person on the list has been waiting since late 2022. I put down my deposit in late March 2023. I advised the Salesman at the dealership that I'll check with him again in 3 months, however he estimated that I would have my 2024 KIA NIRO PHEV before then. We'll see.
16/09/2024 : I contacted my local KIA dealership on August 14 to enquire if any progress has been made on the ETA of my 2024 KIA Niro PHEV EX trim. Unfortunately, they still can't provide me with this information and they don't seem to have a clue. I even called KIA headquarters in Canada and I received a similar response. Being new to KIA, I would have expected a better response. In the meantime, I'll keep waiting, however I've started looking at other options other than KIA.
29/10/2024 : Still patiently waiting for my KIA Niro PHEV EX to arrive after waiting 19 months to the day. I contacted KIA Canada headquarters who opened a case number. They mentioned they would contact the regional Sales Manager and Dealership Manager but since then I haven't heard anything from them. I put down a deposit at another local KIA dealership that has a higher volume of vehicles. Hopefully this will increase the chances of having my KIA Niro PHEV delivered soon.
12/11/2024 : I received a phone call from the Salesman at my local KIA Dealership on 2024-11-04 who advised me that he just received two 2025 KIA Niro PHEV EX (Black & White) and one 2025 KIA Niro EX Premium (City Scape Green). I decided on the city scape green since I would likely have to keep waiting for the Mineral blue one. I finally picked up my Niro on 2024-11-12 after waiting for over 19 months.
