Delivery announced for January.... but no precise date and in the press a forecast for April 2025, i.e. 9 months of waiting in total....
I returned to the dealership at the beginning of January: I was told that the vehicle was being manufactured with a
delivery scheduled for early March.
The dealer verbally undertakes to cover the tax penalty and to maintain the initial trade-in price despite the change in vintage and approximately 10,000 km which will have been covered since the order.

27/03/2025 :
Following a further telephone call to the dealer, the latter informed us that our vehicle would not ultimately be delivered before the end of May, i.e. 10 months after the order....
However, this same dealership announced to us last January that our vehicle had entered its manufacturing phase!...
09/06/2025 :
Telephone interview at the beginning of May with the dealership: factory release scheduled for June 15 and delivery to the dealership at the end of June.... a total of 11 and a half months have passed since the order was placed on July 15, 2024. You really had to be a loyal fan of the brand not to give in to requests from other brands and cancel the order....
13/07/2025 :
New visit to the dealership at the end of June: delivery announced for the end of July....and finally another postponement to August if summer holidays allow! .... more than a year of waiting....
We reminded the dealer by email of their commitment to pay the penalty and to apply the trade-in price of our current vehicle agreed upon when ordering because we do not have to bear financial losses due to abnormally postponed delivery.....
14/08/2025 :
Waiting for news from the dealer, probably early September after the holidays.
By September we will have reached the deadline of 14 months since the order was placed....
20/10/2025 :
At the end of September, the dealership announced to us once again that our vehicle was entering production....
No news since...
02/11/2025 :
Our Peugeot 5008 hybrid 195 hp was finally delivered to us 10 months late compared to the initial delivery date....
But the manufacturer Peugeot has taken charge of the weight penalty of 3,000 euros applicable to SUVs from January 2025.
And the dealer ultimately only deducted 1000 euros from the trade-in price of our current vehicle despite the fact that it had lost value since the order.
We greatly appreciated these gestures on a commercial level, they compensate for the excessive delivery time of our vehicle.

Expected delivery period of 5 months
When Odv ordered his Peugeot 5008 on 24/07/2024, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 13/12/2024, a standard five months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 10 months
For Odv, the delivery of his Peugeot 5008 was postponed by more than eleven months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Odv waited 15 months
Odv ordered their Peugeot 5008 in France on 24/07/2024. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 13/12/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 5 months. In the end, Odv took possession of the vehicle on 31/10/2025, which resulted in a waiting time of 15 months.
