Beyond my expectations
I must admit, I had placed a lot of hope in this new Renault 5, particularly because of its attractive retro design. And it far exceeds them! The interior is well thought out, with an atmosphere that is both modern and nostalgic, and the materials used are of much better quality than I imagined. For such an iconic vehicle, it’s a real success.
Nice in town, but...
In terms of driving, the car behaves very well in an urban environment. It is responsive and easy to handle, perfect for daily journeys. The range in the city is very satisfactory, but it leaves a little to be desired on the highway, probably due to higher consumption at high speeds. This remains acceptable, but optimization of efficiency on the expressway would have been appreciable.
A real pleasure for the eyes and ears
I chose the premium audio option and I don't regret it: the sound is immersive, rich and well balanced, perfect for my long journeys. The white tint gives the car a chic look, especially in the southern sun. We look back regularly as we pass by, and I admit that it’s a pleasure! But beyond the aesthetics and sound comfort, the driving pleasure is simply extraordinary. The steering is precise, the responses are clear, and aids such as Active Drive Assist operate smoothly and reassuringly, making each journey more peaceful.
An icon reinvented with charm
Despite some small teething defects, this new R5 brings me a lot of satisfaction. It succeeds in combining an irresistible neo-retro style with the advantages of a modern electric. It's a pleasure to drive it every day and I'm happy to drive in such a symbolic car, reinvented with care and character.

Initial delivery period of 4 months
Automgen had chosen the Renault 5, a highly sought-after model, on 12/02/2025. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 30/05/2025. This represented an initial delivery period of four months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍
Delivery 1 month ahead of schedule !
This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about Renault's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the Renault 5. Fortunately, Automgen's experience can provide reassurance on this point. Renault handled it well 👍
