October 13, 2025, the day the order is signed, delivery is estimated between December 17 and 28.
On the MyRenault app, however, I am initially told between mid-January and mid-February 2026, then after several days we move to an estimated delivery between January 5 and 25, 2026.
On December 12 the app changed from “Manufacturing” to “Shipping”. We would therefore be getting closer to the initial delivery date planned for the order...
On December 26, call from the dealer: the car could be delivered to me the following week. The app seems to be lagging behind the actual situation of my order...
Registration document well received Saturday or Monday (I was absent). Car ready on December 30 but not possible for me to take delivery on the 31st (maso!). So it will be January 6 morning. Oh well: for once, the My Renault app was in the right niche :)
January 6: and there you have it, I have it!!!

On the MyRenault app, the status has just changed from “manufacturing” to “shipping”. Estimated delivery date unchanged.
26/12/2025 :
Call from the dealer: the car is on its way (the My Renault app still says “Shipping”) and could be delivered to me as early as next week. The registration document should arrive in my mailbox soon. So delivery earlier than what is notified on the app. This confirms that we must take this information with great caution...
30/12/2025 :
Call the dealership to take delivery of my R5! Not being available at the end of the year, we agree on January 6, 2026... Oh yes, for information (and for fun): the My Renault app now indicates a delivery... between March 2 and 22 (yes, March!) 2026. :))))

Handover of keys at the end of the morning.

Initial delivery period of 2 months
Bibs34 had opted for the Renault 5 on 13/10/2025. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 28/12/2025, equating to a two months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 1 month
In Bibs34's case, his Renault 5 was delivered with a slight one month delay, on 06/01/2026. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Renault still managed well.
In fact, bibs34 waited 3 months
Bibs34 ordered their Renault 5 in France on 13/10/2025. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 28/12/2025, which was an initial delivery time of 2 months. In the end, Bibs34 took possession of the vehicle on 06/01/2026, which resulted in a waiting time of 3 months.
