Details from fpabernard :
PHEV version
I bought this car because it is one of the only plug-in hybrids that can tow my 1400 kg caravan. PHEV because I live in a ZFE and I tell myself that in this way I am preserving the future in terms of the possibility of driving everywhere.
I have one of the more expensive versions to benefit from a panoramic sunroof, which is not that panoramic.
For the record, the car remained stuck for more than 3 months, first at the Valenciennes Hub, then in the Autosphère storage car park in the Paris region. So in total 5 months between the end of production and delivery.
Explanation from Toyota: it doesn't matter, for the moment we have not exceeded the scheduled delivery date.
Thank you Toyota!
Apart from that, the car meets our expectations, so very good, but ultimately, despite its enormous dimensions, not that spacious inside: little storage space, very little space in the trunk if we limit ourselves to the space under the luggage cover.
To park it and pass through the “pipes” of underground car parks, fortunately there are driving aids and 360° cameras.
The integrated navigation provides “surprising” journeys. Long live Android Auto!
Last thing: recharging at public terminals is not very interesting: given the price per kWh charged, you might as well drive hybrid and recharge en route in preparation for urban areas. In addition, the terminals malfunction, you are charged for charging or parking time because of the malfunctions.
I am seriously considering installing an E85 box (Biomotors compatible), in which case charging at the terminals will always be much more expensive than charging while driving.
We would like to kill electric power but we wouldn't do it any other way! So much the worse for urban pollution.
On that note, enjoy your RAV4, it’s still a good car!
Big on the outside, small on the inside
Do you remember the Moulines mini-ovens ad? Here it's the opposite
Alright
On this point, nothing to say, perfect, it's like what I read in the various vehicle tests
Good, except navigation
Good, but a few misses

A delivery perfectly on time !
This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about Toyota's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the RAV4. Fortunately, Fpabernard's experience can provide reassurance on this point. Toyota handled it well 👍
