During January the dealer told me an arrival for mid-January then mid-February. Relaunch since last no response... ██ Mustang Mach-E Base de maple 💬 « Tech pack+ requested. Actual colour chosen: Glacier grey. No estimated delivery date given by dealership - they put a random November date on the system but said to expect delivery far sooner than that (they made it sound like we'd only be waiting about 3-4 weeks). Car arrived to dealership in week ending 31/05/25. Two week delay because paint on door had been damaged during transit. Took delivery of car on 12/06/25. At least it was worth the wait. Good car. » maple wrote this comment on 19/06/2025. 14/10/2024 : Received VIN on 20th August. Still heard nothing further about it. Starting to doubt it'll even be here by the end of November. 30/10/2024 : Contacted dealer on 25th October and they advised car came off the production line on 23rd October. Expected delivery date is now 15th March 2025. 01/12/2024 : Dealer said they would make contact to provide more accurate delivery date... One month later they have still not done so. At no point have they contacted us (eg to let us know there was a massive delay). Starting to feel a bit down that we'll not be getting our 2024 car until 2025. 02/01/2025 : Still no contact from dealer. Have been overly patient and need to start chasing this up as the planning permission for installing the charger expires after 6 months so any further delay to the delivery date will be a nuisance. 03/02/2025 : Ford still not keeping us in the loop. Every time there's a delay they seem scared to tell us. If tariffs kick in and increase the price then this will be getting cancelled. (still annoying that we're getting a 2024 car in 2025 but paying as if it's still the latest model - starting to think about cancelling and buying a different brand) 25/03/2025 : Chased up again as heard nothing for ages. Car will now not be delivered until 5th July at the earliest. Almost 11 months since ordering and the dealership has admitted that date is liable to slide too. Apparently they don't have much clout in the network because their sakes figures are poor. Seemingly if I'd used a different dealership they might have been able to get us a car from somewhere else in the country. 26/04/2025 : Went in to the dealership yesterday and was advised they expect to have the car by 31st May and then we should have it a few days after that.
