On November 12, 2024, I ordered a Peugeot 5008 electric vehicle from the dealership...., for which a delivery deadline was scheduled for 04.30.2025.
However, the vehicle was only delivered to me today, Friday 01/23/2026, i.e. more than 9 months late compared to the contractual commitment. This particularly significant delay caused me several damages, including family organization, postponements of commitments, postponements of important medical appointments, etc.
To date, I have never received a clear and detailed explanation of the reasons for this delay despite my repeated requests. This total lack of communication reinforced my feeling of contractual non-compliance and lack of transparency.
A loyal customer for over 35 years, I have always favored the Peugeot brand for our family vehicles and always highlighted your seriousness, your various models, etc. This particularly disappointing situation encourages me to join a group of customers who are victims of the same delivery delays, but I do not want to reach that point, I am counting on your good commercial spirit and I would not want there to be consequences on our future loyalty.
As soon as the delay appeared, I contacted the dealership as well as your services. I was told that the question of compensation would be studied upon receipt of the vehicle. I also sent several complaints letters and emails which remained without a satisfactory response, my files having finally been "closed" on the grounds that your services only dealt with delays (without being able to respond to anything?) and not with what would happen after delivery.
I contest this unilateral closure of my requests, which in no way responds to the damage suffered nor to the verbal commitments made regarding the examination of a commercial gesture upon delivery.
Consequently, I formally ask you to:
- re-examine my complaint file relating to the late delivery of my Peugeot 5008.
- offer me significant commercial compensation in line with the extent of the delay and the inconvenience suffered.
Thank you for responding to me within one week of receipt of this letter.

and in addition we go through an outsourced platform based in Senegal to which my requests have been systematically transferred. Their last response is that nothing is planned for this kind of situation, I continue to fight to get something with the help of my dealership...
