« In fact excel model with city pack. The app suddenly said car was built and sitting in Belgium. It did that when I contacted Toyota directly. Can anyone confirm if cars now go through Channel Tunnel not ship from Zebbruger? 15th Dec now quoted? App hopeless and should be turned off until fixed. Okay it got moved to 1st Feb, then 7th and now told third week Feb? I have instructed dealership not to reg the car before 1st March so can get the 24 reg. told at sea? Sounds like Toyota all at sea!!! Reason given not enough capacity at Derby site. App now says the car is in Grimsby 25/1/24 arrived on Sea Cruiser 2 17:15 GMT okay car arrived at retailer in Scotland it will be transferred to dealership. I have asked them not to reg before March a will pick up then. When I get notification it’s at my dealership will set delivered. 12/2/24. Will get car on 2/3/24. It was 11am GMT car sitting for us it was Built Nov 29th. Drove home and it was very smooth and even got a 90 score for my first drive. Now fitted out with a spare wheel, and car protection. Just now trying to get the Apple CarPlay to work. Oh the built in sat nav was faster than expected. « I was told yesterday by my dealer that my new Yaris Cross has now been built, but that it is held up at Zeebrugge waiting to be shipped to UK, and that there are some difficulties relating to this. The MyToyota app confirms that the car is built and waiting at Zeebrugge. I have also been told that most likely the car will not be delivered until early in the New Year of 2024.
» aps wrote this comment on 07/03/2024. 10/01/2024 : My dealer now advises that my car is not expected before the middle of February, although it was built a month ago and as far as I can tell is waiting at Zeebrugge - missing some bits, perhaps? 23/01/2024 : Dealer has provided the VIN number of my new car, which starts with a J. As I understand it that means the car was manufactured in Japan and not at Onnaing in France as the MyToyota app indicates. Presumably it is currently somewhere on the high seas. Current dealer delivery estimate is mid-February 24. 26/01/2024 : MyToyota app now showing the car as in transit in Grimsby UK, so hopefully delivery getting closer. 04/02/2024 : On morning of 30 January my car re-appeared at Zeebrugge. Then in the afternoon it magically was transported to Derbyshire. Either my car can fly, or the MyToyota app badly needs updating - especially as earlier it was showing a car coming from Japan as having been built in France, and them time it spent in transit at sea as in transit at Zeebrugge. Getting close now though. I hope! 05/02/2024 : MyToyota app now showing my car as back at Grimsby. The app works so poorly, that it is worse than not having one at all.
