No news except that Honda promises delivery before the end of the year.....
Customer relations level is more than limited
Updated delivery time to March 2024..... They are making fun of the world..... No excuses from them, the only thing I was asked was if I wanted to cancel it....... so that they can sell it for 20% more?
Delivery made on April 15, 2024. Worth the wait as it is a very good car, I just hope that either I get through the steering issues or the recall is in effect before the issues. Result in approximately 20,000kms.
That said, the extremely long waiting time made me lose the positive effect of a new car delivery..... Having pored over the manual for more than a year, I arrived at the dealership, did the administrative work and left, asking for a minimum of information. My only desire is to leave with the car.

Expected delivery period of 8 months
When Gubis ordered his Honda Civic on 29/11/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 31/07/2023, a standard eight months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 9 months
For Gubis, the delivery of his Honda Civic was postponed by more than nine months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Gubis waited 17 months
Gubis ordered their Honda Civic in France on 29/11/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 31/07/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 8 months. In the end, Gubis took possession of the vehicle on 15/04/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 17 months.
