Details from Megri :
Ordered in November 2022, delivery scheduled for June 2023 (given the component problems during this period I knew it would be much later).
In January 2023 I read that the Civic cannot be ordered (component problem).
February 2023 I am called to tell me that there is no deadline at the moment and if I want to cancel, I refuse to cancel, I know very well that the price will jump.
August 2023 Orders are reopened, the car took 7000 euros (I did well to maintain my order). The deadline is now in April 2024. (There is no hurry, we will buy back my old one at the same price)
Finally I got it in May 2024.
In short, I made money with the time spent waiting and paying off my old credit while waiting.
Anyway, great car

When Megri ordered his Honda Civic on 19/11/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 30/06/2023, a standard seven months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 11 months
For Megri, the delivery of his Honda Civic was postponed by more than ten months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Megri waited 18 months
Megri ordered their Honda Civic in France on 19/11/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 30/06/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 7 months. In the end, Megri took possession of the vehicle on 13/05/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 18 months.
