Expected delivery period of 8 months
When François ordered his Honda Civic on 16/10/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 15/06/2023, a standard eight months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 8 months
For François, the delivery of his Honda Civic was postponed by more than nine months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, François waited 16 months
François ordered their Honda Civic in France on 16/10/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 15/06/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 8 months. In the end, François took possession of the vehicle on 29/02/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 16 months.
