I could make use of the pre-order, made by my dealer in July 2022. Yesterday (Sept. 20) the car has been delivered at my dealer 's. On 7 Oct I will be the happy owner.

Expected delivery period of 4 months
When Clayton ordered his Honda Civic on 16/12/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 21/04/2023, a standard four months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 5 months
For Clayton, the delivery of his Honda Civic was postponed by more than five months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Clayton waited 9 months
Clayton ordered their Honda Civic in Netherland 
on 16/12/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 21/04/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 4 months. In the end, Clayton took possession of the vehicle on 21/09/2023, which resulted in a waiting time of 9 months.
