No letter of explanation from Honda Belgium for 15 months... Absolute lack of seriousness.
Finally, I wrote directly to Japan, a month and a half ago, to inform them of the way in which customers are treated by Honda Belgium. 10 days later, I finally received an apology message from Honda Europe, and a few days later, confirmation from my dealer that my car would arrive at the beginning of April, instead of July to September 2024! (I could have had it 8 days earlier but I was on vacation). In short, you have to complain to be served. If I had known...

My dealer is now telling me a possible delivery in September 2024! Some rumors on the internet speak of 2025....(In the first case, 23 months! and in the second, more than two years!

Nothing. The dealer announces a possible delivery at best in July 2024...and still no apology letter, nor explanation from Honda Belgium. Absolute lack of respect for the customer.

Expected delivery period of 8 months
When Schumi01 ordered his Honda Civic on 07/10/2022, he was filled with excitement and anticipation 😉 The initially announced delivery date of 07/06/2023, a standard eight months delivery period, seemed reasonable for such a sought-after model.
A delivery delayed by 10 months
For Schumi01, the delivery of his Honda Civic was postponed by more than ten months. Such delays, though quite unusual, can be attributed to various factors beyond the manufacturer's direct control (supply chain issues with components, global logistical challenges...).
In fact, Schumi01 waited 18 months
Schumi01 ordered their Honda Civic in Belgium on 07/10/2022. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 07/06/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 8 months. In the end, Schumi01 took possession of the vehicle on 11/04/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 18 months.
