Comfortable and well soundproofed
Comfort and soundproofing are much better than my old 208 from 2012. The sound from the speakers is good, the screen is a good size and it is sufficiently responsive (a shame though because it could be a little more responsive, there's not much missing).
Driving pleasure is the big advantage of this car, it is very pleasant to drive.
A small flaw (which I noticed on the Renault Captur too, perhaps it's the trend), the openings are smaller, so you feel a little cramped, and above all the visibility is less good, I should have taken the vision pack which allows blind spot detection. The advantage is that the sun comes in less, so it's probably a little cooler in summer.
But I'm a little worried about the quality/longevity
- I pressed a little too hard on the passenger button on the window, and it fell into the door... However, a good point, a visit to Peugeot helped to resolve the 2 problems in 5 minutes: the button is quickly put back on by removing the black plastic which supports the button (it's still average)
- The open door light on the ceiling light which remains on, a visit to Peugeot (3 days), they just removed and replaced the cover...
- The brake pedal cover probably hidden because it was lifting, a visit to Peugeot and they replaced it (the same 3 days)
- The right front low beam is a little higher than the left, not sure if this is normal
- A strange noise about 1 minute after switching off the engine, this is perhaps normal but it would be good if we were told this upon delivery. -> Question asked at Peugeot, and that's normal

Initial delivery period of 4 months
Moirt had chosen the Peugeot 208, a highly sought-after model, on 15/06/2024. At the time of purchase, he was given a delivery date of 20/10/2024. This represented an initial delivery period of four months, a duration quite typical for such a vehicle 👍
A delivery perfectly on time !
This timeframe could raise questions among future buyers about Peugeot's delivery schedule management, especially for a model as popular as the 208. Fortunately, Moirt's experience can provide reassurance on this point. Peugeot handled it well 👍
