I received an email 11/07/24 (unsolicited by me) from the dealer informing me: “Peugeot tells me that the car should enter Portugal in the first half of August, and delivery to you should be in the second half of August.”
When I did not hear anything, I emailed in early Sept, and on 16/09/24 I was informed: “ Your car is already produced and is in transport - currently near the port of Antwerp. As soon as he enters the Portuguese border, we will be alerted.”
I have not yet heard anything. I assumed it would take 1-2 weeks to get from Antwerp to Lisbon, but no word as yet….
I thought the initial projected delivery date of 24 July was super fast. I would have preferred a more realistic estimation. Now that I’ve seen the data on this site, I realize that getting my car in October would be on the early end of the average range.

Initial delivery period of 2 months
MCampbell had opted for the Peugeot 208 on 03/06/2024. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 24/07/2024, equating to a two months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 3 months
In MCampbell's case, his Peugeot 208 was delivered with a slight three months delay, on 22/10/2024. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Peugeot still managed well.
In fact, MCampbell waited 5 months
MCampbell ordered their Peugeot 208 in Portugal 
on 03/06/2024. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 24/07/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 2 months. In the end, MCampbell took possession of the vehicle on 22/10/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 5 months.
